Steve, Im working through the freebets for the first time.

Whats the best approach to exploit the Totesport £100 to full advantage.

I note from T&C that they ask to play 5 bets to qualify for the full £100.

Got any tips,

If you do it on Saturday morning, there's usually loads of arbs on the odds checker, they mention somewhere about their good prices for then.
You can usually get at least 10 QBs on, only losing a couple of pence!!

I found the free bet after an intensive search and I've mentioned it to bigjas who I would imagine is looking into getting an offer up on site if at all possible.

Underlaying :

In a nutshell laying less than the calculator tells you to. This is a real example of a qualifier I placed last week at a European bookmaker, you can check these figures in your calculators. I underlayed this because if I won at the book I would have to withdraw and would be likely to lose some profit due to the exchange rate.

Qualifier Back £30 at 35 / Lay £32.86 at 32. I pay 4.8% commision so this = £31.28 whatever the result.

Instead I layed £31.51 at 32 so now if the bet loses I make no profit / loss on the arb but I've no withdrawal to make and can now place the free bet. If the bet wins at the bookmaker I make £43.19 profit to (hopefully) cover the exchange rate.

I found a bet for the free bet with similar odds and again underlayed by a pound so that if I won at the bookie I covered the exchange rate. (Both bets lost)

Week 9, just hit my target this week. Started out again with a new account for a good friend towards the back of the week so going forward now should be a little easier as I've all the UK books to do again . I'm sharing the workload (and profit) with a friend of mine so I'll only post the offers that I do here. Finished the OH's offers using card which isn't going into the float. Made £340 over 3 weeks from the few books She had left. Using this money to celebrate Christmas so those figures aren't included

On the racing forecast this weekend I placed 6 different forecasts and one of them won. I also place 6 different correct score bets and one of them won (I posted my blog before the game so they are in next weeks figures). I laid them all off but combining the liabilities means no commision, same with the FGS but I didn't pick a winner there

Do you have to put 18x £20 bets on to get the BOGOFFS ?
Also if you lay the CS and forecast, FGS what does it matter, if they win or lose? How much do you lose on the 18 QBs ?

6 different accounts so for each Free bet offered = 6 Qualifiers. This weekend that was 24 bets but one was voided so 18 Free bets qualified for. The forecast bet can't be laid so 6 different forecasts = more chance of winning (This weeks paid out £92.60)

On the qualifiers I weigh up the expected profit, so for a CS free bet I'm prepared to lose upto £1 per qualifier. For a bet which can't be laid I won't take a loss on the qualifier. A good example is the winning Margin free bet in the recent Rugby internationals. I had Australai covered right upto 30 points and Scotland did the unthinkable and beat them

Combining liabilities is simply having multiple bets on one market, such as CS or horse racing, etc. Only one of the bets can win so for each new bet you place on a different outcome you reduce your maimum liability. A winningbet means you will have to pay out at Betfair, meaning you commision is reduced on all losing bets. On the CS this weekend I placed the following bets

£10 FB / £7.30 Lay Odds 9 / 11
£10 FB / £8.49 Lay Odds 12 / 12
£10 FB / £7.30 Lay Odds 9 / 11
£10 FB / £7.56 Lay Odds 5.8 / 6.3
£10 FB / £7.20 Lay Odds 15 / 19.5
£10 FB / £10 Underlay Odds 101 / 89

The £10 Free bet at 15 won so my finishing position over all 6 bets was

Will Hill + £140
Betfair - £91.38

Because my net figure at Betfair is a loss I pay no commision on the 5 winning Lays. I also had my Bodog SUB layed too so paid no commision on that.
