From wizard of odds.
Never bust: For my analysis of this strategy I assumed the player would never hit a hard 12 or more. All other decisions were according to correct basic strategy. This "never bust" strategy results in a house edge of 3.91%.
From beating bonuses.
The next table keeps the required time constant. Bet size is adjusted so that the required time is 1.00 hours. With 1 hand, the bet size is 2.11. With 5 hands, the bet size per hand is 1.49, and the bet size per round is 5*1.49 = 7.45. The results show that as number of hands increases, standard deviation also increases. When time is kept constant, variance is smaller with single-hand than multi-hand.
It looks like the varience increases rather than the house edge.
As I said earlier if it works for you then stick with it.
You can vary your game to suit your style and use sweepering or argue what tactics are the best till your blue in the face, at the end of the day the house always has the edge. The bonus is the only thing that makes a difference.
