Be careful with this bookie (Bwin)

I managed to lose my qualifying bet - great, money was in betdaq.

Bet my free £20 and it won - no problem, so I thought, I'll just back something else and lay it off on betdaq or bf.

When I tried to, they had reduced my betting limit to £1 !!!!!!

Contacting Bwin CS (now there's a badly named department) got me a reply that basically said - due to security reasons blah blah etc my betting limit was a quid.

Asked them why, and they said I had no right to know why!!!!

I gave up ( they had £95 of my money) and told then where to stck their 'bonus', asked for a withdrawal and, I actually got it, even though they have a wagering requirement. I feel very lucky to have got out with my money!

They obviously hate winners!

Gemini as a new member, your contributions are as valid as anyone else but you have obviously not joined these sites directly from here so maybe thats why you have had problems?

Don't see that as the reason.

I've got accounts with dozens of bookies and this bookie is the only one I've had a problem with.

If the bookie is genuine and trustworthy, it shouldn't matter one iota how you open an account, ot through whom.

It`s pretty hilarious to think they have restricted you to £1 bets, just for winning you think?

If it just for winning once with them, who do these people think they are?

If you were losing £2000 a bet every day they would quite happily take your money.
WHERE DOES IT ALL GO ? :?

Yep, 2 bets, 1 loser and 1 winner (£20 @4.3 - I think it was) and a £1 betting limit.

Great bookie!!

It's not about you winning. Somehow they have marked you down as a bonus blagging match betting son of a gun... Could be bad timing on your part in that you bet on something they already knew was close odds and just after you bet for some reason the odds started to tumble as more people piled onto the same bet. Arb's will sometimes do this. :x
