You're giving away £5-7 at those low ish odds. You're not actually spending/ risking your money by covering the lay bets- it'll still be there after- either in your bookie account or your betfair account. Try a similar match on the calc at higher odds to see what you should be making

From little acorns mighty oaks grow.

Set aside some money to start with and vow to only use it for matched betting. Once you have doubled it you can take you start up capital back out. The more money you can afford* to invest the quicker you will get it back and / or more profit for being able to lay SNR's at higher odds.

Ask yourself this question, had your Qualifying bet won at WH you would only have £25 in Betfair, the refund you would have got for the losing bet. Would you then accept £12.50 for the free bet as you could only bet around evens? Or would you have put more money in to Betfair to lay the SNR?

I started way back with £50, but with many of the casino loopholes now closed you can't build a float that way anymore. Ideally you would want £500 float to start with but probably £200 minimum. Anything less and you are throwing away value with the free bets.

* By afford I mean money you can commit and won't need to pay bills etc in the next few weeks

I suppose in this case I'm trying to be the tortoise and not the hare and doing or trying to build up a float with the winnings on my free bets and as I only have a £100 (comfortable ) float I am having to shop and hunt around for decent back/lay odds, with the hope of building float up to £200 after 5-6 free bets(or is that too hopeful) after tonight I will be £18 up after one free bet.
And when you've used your free bets is it advisable/reccomended to repeat the back/laying with the(free) funds you've accumulated and search all bookies to get the best odds.
Thanks again for your patience guys

If you currently have £100 available put it in betfair and use it to make the most possible out of the free bet you have from WH.

£100 of liability means you can look at odds around 5-6 for a better return. Once that bet settles re-distribute the money to where you need it next, so if it wins at Betfair withdraw enough to place your next qualifier. If it wins at WH withdraw it all and put some back in Betfair and some in your next bookie.

It can be slow to start off with but once the money starts building up you don't need to wait for the withdrawals before you can do the next one so it snowballs

Thanks sharpshooter, you seemed to be well versed on this topic,at the moment I am sitting with £102 in betfair(£80 my own money) I am now moving on to my free sky bet(£10) for my next back/lay,it wont make me a fortune but i'll make a profit the only thing is after signing up with sky and seeing my free £10 bet on my account, when I go to place a bet it is asking me for a deposit???????
One other thing guys once I have used my free bets what is my NEXT STEP is it OVER or can you still make a profit backing and laying,I cant quite see how you can back/lay with your own money as you lose a little bit of your stake each time,PLEASE ENLIGHTEN!!!!!!!!!!

It may seem a little showy but I genuinely can't think of a better way to answer your question

Most bookies have online support who can help with these types of issues ( it can be confusing if you're unfamiliar with betting/or the layout of the site in question).

In addition to the above link (which should be renamed "The first 100k and beyond" ;) there are repeat free bet offers (reloads) and arbing and trading to get into, which can bring a small but regular income

Hi again guys great input especially from admin and sharpshooter,I would like your comments on the following.
Before coming across this great site and the free bet method I was contimplating picking a football league and placing £10 on the home, draw and away £30 per bet,ten matches £300 stake weekly.I know it is quite a large stake to find but I think the returns over a season(its a full season bet) would be favourable.Speaking from experience this season I have placed £5 maximum on my ODDS ONS!!!!!!!!! coupon ranging from 8-10 selections, how many times have i won(ONCE!!!!!) two or three odds ons have ALWAYS let me down.So if I pick the premiership and stick with it everyweek with the best odds bookie I think it is a good RISK bet, input please guys

In true Dragons Den style, I'm out ;)
I don't feel qualified to advise on gambling methods. I'm neither for or against gambling per se but this site is all about making money from bookies without any risk, so personally I don't see the point. I'd rather make money than take risks.
I'm not sure if you're describing betting on every possible outcome ie team a, team b and the draw; in which case you'll lose out due to the bookies building in their guaranteed profits - the overound I think it's called.

I aren't sure I understand what you are doing.

As it reads you are placing £10 on the Home Team, £10 on The Draw and £10 on The Away team, is that right?

You are then suggesting to do this for every game in The English Premier League over a season?
