I know I don't update this often enough but today is a big milestone. My total bankroll is now more than my mortgage, which is the only reason I got into this in the first place. I won't actually be paying my mortgage off as I am on a fixed term and I can't cover the penalties, but to know I am now in an effective debt free state is great. I will continue to pay down my mortgage as I can but barring catastrophe I will now be mortgage free in 4 years time, at the age of 41.

From their I just have to find the £70k to put 3 kids through University, £50k to pay for two daughters weddings and £15k to buy and insure 3 second hand cars, as well as making £200k+ to fund my retirement. Wish me luck

1st update in a long while. I didn't even post to brag about my BIG milestone.

This year has been fantastic so far. I had my best Cheltenham ever (Mainly due to 9 BF accounts and their £250 offer) but there's been so much else going on too. I've hit some big casino wins and just been generally very lucky.

This post is mainly to inspire the Newbies. April saw me complete my 4th year of matched betting. In those 4 years I have earned £108,000 TAX FREE, that's an average of £27k per year (Anyone who used to visit rpoints will see some humour in that).

For the newbies that may seem impossible, but it really is a case of the more you have, the more you can make. It's not uncommon for me to have £15-20k laid out at a time on various offers and bets. This year alone I have made £16k in the first quarter, so you don't need to be a maths whizz to work out that my average earnings are on the increase.

I have a few questions if you don't mind me answering..


How exactly did you reach that level? Just by booking bonuses or casino and stuff too? Because casino seems a bit more risky..

How many active accounts do you have so I can calculate the avg income for each one of them?

How did you choose the bookies (whichever bookie had a bonus for example or did you search them out first) and do you have them in a specific order when signing up new accounts?

And one more question.. When you have won the bonus on the booker do you withdraw all the money or keep some of them there for future use or arbs?

In Order

1) I reached this level through hard work and dedication + luck. I regularly put in 15-20 hours a week when I was working and am now full time. Casino is much more risky and don't even begin tackling bonuses unless you understand ev.

2) Probably about 100 accounts, but I have also lost about 75-100 accounts too. There is no point working out the average per account as it is meaningless. A William Hill account is worth probably 100 Bet Internet accounts

3) When I started I chose the bookies from the front page. I did the smaller ones first so any mistakes cost less and it enabled me to build my float

4) Only withdraw if you have to! When 1st starting out you need the money elsewhere so withdrawing can be necessary. If however you have enough float try to arb the money out. DON'T sit on the money for 2 weeks waiting for an arb though, look for something that's happening soon or withdraw.

Avoid arbs on obscure markets.

On football stick to the big leagues so any of your home country and England, Germany, Spain, Italy. To a lesser extent France, Holland & Portugal but be careful with these.

Horse racing avoid small meetings and big money. Sticking £500 on a horse in th 3:30 at Pontefract is gonna make you stick out, but not at Ascot.

Avoid obscure sports. If it doesn't have a wide following then you will be noticed if you place large bets. I use mainly Football, Rugby, Golf, Tennis, Snooker, NFL & Horse Racing

When I said accounts I meant people you signed up for. Because I have around 35 people to add at this moment..

And regarding all these sports how are you able to follow them all at the same time? Do you use any software or website or something else?
