OK guys, I see we are overwhelmed with offers here  so I better start the ball rolling.

Right, this is totally risk free and can be done at 2 different sites and you also get entered into lots of free tournaments(7x$500,1x$1000 and a qualifier for a $100000). As an internet poker veteran I made around £300 from the first site and I did the 2nd site a couple of days ago and made £0 although I still have all the tournaments to enter so I am still hoping to make something but off the bonus I bust out.

The 1st one is 888.com Pacific Poker. They give you a 100% match bonus up to $400 but you need to play a lot to get the whole thing. However, they give you $100 of that $400 instantly and you can then withdraw your deposited $400 and play with their $100 free cash! You cannot withdraw this $100 without wagering a lot but any winnings you make you can withdraw. So as soon as you have won say over $15 just withdraw it and carry on playing with the $100.

The 2nd site is LuckyAcePoker. Beware they ask for ID. The offer and the tournaments are exactly the same.

Although the bonus offer is strictly enforced 1 per household, if you make a small deposit in a partner`s name you can enter all the tournaments again free. Obviously at LuckyAce you would have to provide their ID though so I won`t be doing it there.

It is probably best to stick to the lower stakes rooms with the higher flop percentages as this is where the worst players are.

So a really good opportunity to make some risk free profits - just don`t tell that Scratty Bear ;) .

Rit - thanks for this mate - its really appreciated. I'm just getting my head round this casino stuff. Whilst stuff like roulette I can get my head around I can really say Ive played much poker in my life. Is it just a case of playing hands or to you need to understand the game ? Any advice ?

The best advice I can give you is not to play too many hands , just fold hands like 7 2 , 10 3 etc and bet your strong hands aggressively e.g if you hold KJ and the flop comes K 6 3 bet it aggressively.

Obviously I could go on all night (people have written books on how to play this game ) but try to play tight but aggressive.

Oh yeah, stick to Texas Hold `em fixed limit. Forget the other games.

There's a handy tool you can ""find"" on the web called calculatem pro...basically a little window attaches too your poker table and calculates the percentages for you.

Personally i don't bother as been a keen player for a couple of years now...Hold em is good for beginners as its pretty straight forward however be aware different sites run different software and with enough time spent its easy too work out whats what.

Betfair will rotate round the table...so you might have 50 crap hands then start getting say 5/6/ decent/very good hands....watch the pattern.!

Coral poker 90% of the time favours the chip leader....esp when the game is starting too get towards the end of the game, again play lots of hands and you will see a pattern emerge.

Omaha (my personal favourite) and Stud should be avoided until your comfortable making quick decisions and fully understanding the way the cards fall....so many different ways too suck you into thinking your Omaha hand is the best only too be beaten by a fictionally better hand.....same with Stud...only with a lot of luck added.
Time too start again.....
