i just did it again at coral and lost 17.50 :o woops. so im down 4.00 overall. At least i killed some time i guess.

I absolutely creamed the roulette offer as I have numerous accounts at both Eurobet & Coral. I've only done the BJ offer on 1 so far. I won my first hand and never looked back. Balance never dropped below my deposit and at 1 stage I was up £50 on the wagering. Finished with £60 profit including the bonus.

It's just variance really that brings the bigger wins. In order to maximise profits having decent strategy is essential and it's important you stick to it.

In any given scenario whatever the right thing to do is, it's always the right thing to do. Don't be swayed with what's happened before as the cards have no memory. I always stick by some basic rules, these aren't necessarily perfect strategy

1) Where available ALWAYS play single deck Blackjack
2) Never stand on less than 11, regardless of dealer card
3) Always Double from 10, 11 against dealer 3,4,5,6,7,8
4) Never double against 2,9,10
5) Never take a card if you can bust when dealer showing 4,5,6
6) Always take a card if you have 12, 13 and dealer showing 2 or 3
7) Always take a card if dealer showing 7,8,9,10,A & you have less than 17
8) Always stand once you have 17 or more (not including soft 17)
9) Always split 2 x 7, 2 x 8, 2 x 9 against dealer 2,3,4,5,6,7
10) Always split 2 x 8 against dealer 8 and 2 x 9 against dealer 8,9
11) Always split aces unless dealer showing Ace
12) Always splt 2 x 10 against dealer 3,4,5,6,
13) Never split 2 x 10 against dealer 2,7,8,9,10,A

As well as sticking to these basic principles I also use a progressional staking plan. When you win, increase your stakes, when you lose drop back down to your base stake. This means that when you hit a winning streak you will win more than you would lose on the same amount of losing hands.

I stake using the following pattern

2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5 etc Once I lose I go back to the beginning. My best ever streak was 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,-8. On this streak I won £35 over 14 hands. Had I lost 14 hands in a row my losses would be -£28, so you can see a £7 swing. This can be quite nervy if you've bet £7 and are dealt a pair to split or 11 to double.

I have had a situation where I split 2 x 9 against a 5 and got 2 x 2, so now I have 11 twice and £7 on each hand and, despite the amount of money, you HAVE to double. Chances are you win at least one and probably both hands.

Thanks for that, very useful. I think i was doing most of the things correctly, although as you said i need to know precisely what to do in every situation. I was practising free play last night to improve :lol:

I think i'll try out your progressive technique. I might do something slightly different because i'm concerned about depositing too much as im still new to this. I think on a winning streak i'll try staking 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4 etc.

How much do you deposit to do what you do? I'll give this a try tonight.

I never deposit more than double the bonus value to start with. With a post wager bonus like this (i.e. you don't get the bonus until you've finished) it's imperative to keep playing. If you have lost £50 but completed £500 of the wr, you have to mentally write off the £50 and now you have a £25 bonus for £125 wr. So long as you don't lose more than £25 in completing the remaining wr you are still better off than if you had quit when £50 down. Quite often you will see a bounce back too so you may recoup some of the £50 you lost anyway.

The same applies to winning scenario's too. I could have quit when I was £50 ahead, but at that point I had a £25 bonus for a £130 wr. By continuing I lost £15 of the £50 but gained the £25 bonus so +£10 net.

Blackjack bonuses are something you have to commit to. If you play enough over the long term you will get close to the variance. This means that sometimes you win on the wr and collect the bonus too, and other times you may make a loss even after the bonus, but they should over time even themselves out. So long as the offers are +ev then you should profit long term despite short term losses. This is why so few casino's allow blackjack to clear the wr.

In order to use a progressive staking plan you need your 3rd bet to be less than the value of your first two combined bets. That way every time you win 2 bets in a row you make a gain, even if the 3rd loses.

e.g.

2,2,-3 = net +1
1,1,-2 = net 0

My staking plan is quite moderate and helps to even out the swings, but it doesn't maximise potential profits. A more aggressive player may use.

2,2,3,4,5,6,7 etc

Using the same 14 hand winning streak example

2,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,-15 = £91 profit a swing of £64 over flat betting the same 15 hands. This however scares even me with my large bankroll. The thought of doubling down with £15 on the table has me bricking it.

Took a large pause whilst posting this and looked at the maths. I think from now on I'm going to use this more aggressive staking plan as I can only see an up side and can't see how a sequence comes to an end where the profit from the sequence isn't at least the same, but the more hands you win in succession the gulf in return becomes wider in the players favour over the more moderate staking plan and certainly over flat betting.

Thanks for the tips again, I appreciate it. I'm starting to think maybe i should opt for the 2,2,3,3,4,4 technique. At least this way it should take roughly half the time than doing £1 per hand which is what i was doing. Maybe after a few go's i'll try out the agressive staking plan.

Those bj games must be rigged lol, lost £10 and then £4 when trying again. Both times i was up by about £25 until the last 100/200 or so hands when i had an absolute stinker of cards dealt to me :roll:
