I've just signed up with expekt and been denied the SUB. They say that they don't have any sign up offers atm. I also got an e-mail from casinopromotions@expekt saying that I would get 100 free spins on tomb raider which is why I signed up and they have denied me these as well.
Apparently the tomb raider is not open to UK players.....then why did they send the e-mail to a co.uk address?
They also charged me 63p for depositing via debit card?

These are a bunch of clowns IMO.

Week 16

I've been a bit subdued this week. Haven't been feeling too well and really tired. I haven't been doing much (relatively) as tiredness causes mistakes :) Under my target for the week, mainly due to a downturn at the BJ tables (-£3.50 Loss from 3 Eurobet/Coral accounts) but I've had plenty of good weeks to make up for it. I'm saving some of the mainstream UK (NOT VC and Bet365 as there offers are good anyway) books for Cheltenham to see if they have any better offers, so concentrating on some of the European books for now. This week I also got the brother in laws details so placed my VC qualifier today

Week 17

Had an excellent week this week despite an ENORMOUS cock up (see the WH BOGOF thread). Despite making a loss of £293 on a qualifier still well above target for the week. Had a little luck when I accidentally bet £5 of my own money on first touchdown scorer in the superbowl and it came in for £65 unlaid, so that's some of it back at least. Things are likely to slow down now as my job is under threat so got to be whiter than white, so no MB'ing at work :o

Figures for week 17

Week 18 A Landmark Week

Wow, I wouldn't have dreamt it when I started this blog but after only 18 weeks I've made my 2nd 10K :D

This week has been another good one thanks to Betsson Casino SUB's and busting out of Bet365 in 1 go with a nice arb. Also got lucky with a Ladbrokes Casino bonus where I made on the wagering + did well from the bonus. Had a couple of horses come in underlayed at WH for nice arbs but my proudest moment of the week has to be £41.93 from a £7 Bwin Birthday reload. Underlayed a horse which came in at 7.5 and then arbed out the winnings, underlaying everything and hitting a few more winners including a 6.5/5. I reckon if I don't get gubbed I could make a living from Bwin arbing the horses ;)

Figures for week 18

Starting Balance £19506.50

4 x Betsson Casino SUB (BJ 100% 50 Euro bonus) £109.91
Bet365 SUB £203.45

Bwin Horse Racing Arbs £ 34.93
Bwin SUB £ 30.00
Canbet SUB £ 21.26
Centrebet Games Bonus £ 1.50
Cenrebet SUB £ 0.20
Coral Free £5 FGS Bet £ 20.00
IAS Arb £ 6.53
Intertops SUB £ 7.25
Moneybookers Commission £ 4.47
3 x Ladbrokes Burning Desire Bonus £148.04
Stan James Free Chip £ 23.00
Unibet Superbowl Free Bet £ 10.50
2 x William Hill Arbs £ 53.31
William Hill BOGOFs £ 59.41

Weekly Total £739.06

Well done! :D
That's some going to do that in 18 weeks.

Hopefully you'll keep the blog going for the 3rd 10k, your tips are invaluable to novices and experts alike. So cheers for that.

Do you see a long term future out of this or do you think you'll eventually go on to do more arbing or maybe even trading? I suppose it really depends how many friends and family you can sign up.

Well done Steve. Hats off to you mate. Keep this one going mate and you'll be a living legend 8-) . I'm interested as to why you seem to underlay everything when you'd expect odds of 6 or 7 to win at BF?
I'm interested as to why you seem to underlay everything when you'd expect odds of 6 or 7 to win at BF?
Take the Bwin Birthday Bonus as an example, Deposit £7 for a £7 Bonus. I found an arb which was 7/6.2 If I take the standard break even I lay £15.93 for a profit of £8.18 win or lose. If I lose I'm out if I win I have to wager a further £28 to complete the offer.

Instead I underlay to make £7 profit if I bust out so 100% of the offer but if it wins (which it did) I make £14.56 profit. This is particularly good with Bwin as they only offer a few horses per race and any other horse, so generally they're offering the top 4 in a field, any of which could win.

With WH after the weekend BOGOF's I try to arb out any winnings rather than withdraw. I figure a net loss book on my part is good to avoid getting gubbed. I always fully underlay the bets on horses as my only aim is to transfer the money from my WH account to my BF. If I do win I want to take a reward from it.

I found an arb 7/6.4 and I had £100 to arb out. Again laying equally I can guarantee a profit of £5 but by underlaying I won £33 and If I lose I've arbed it out which is what I wanted anyway.

By underlaying I am effectively buying a free bet to the value of my stake at the difference in odds between the break even and the odds I lay at, in this example I have a free £100 bet at odds of 0.33 on the 2nd favourite in a large field. Doesn't always work but when it does the payoff is worth it, especially on close arbs at very high odds.

Ah, I see why that makes sense if you never withdraw your winnings from the bookie. Keep them in profit and everyones a winner with no gubbed acounts ;)
