I'm afraid your confusing my mention of the Sign Up Bonus with the 4/1 offer. Someone else mentioned it earlier but I've never really bothered with it

Yes you should treat it as SNR in order to guarantee a profit either way (SNR is in reality just underpaying). As you have realised it isn't strictly matched betting as your profits will differ according to the result. Win and you get a refund, but if you lose at least you get something back at betfair via the SNR/underlay.

Week 36

I have to admit I'm getting bored of MB'ing at the minute. Seems like hard work when the sun is shining. However the mortgage won't clear itself. This week has been made up of lots of small reloads and finally getting the Victor Chandler free bet for the stage 1 offer. That was a lot harder than I thought it would be. With the group stages over the Centre bet free bets are over but I did very well from that. Just wish I had picked South Korea on all 6 accounts. Ladbrokes have tightened their odds considerably for their free bet offer and I simply haven't bothered. All the Ladbrokes bets for this week were placed last week.

Thanks for the advice on the Bet365 4/1+ offer lads. Turned out to be pretty much useless as only had the account 3 weeks and already been so badly limited on maximum stake as to make it pointless to carry on.

Week 38 (Amended)

I was having a good week anyway when I thought I'd had a real piece of luck. I placed a free bet on the top goal scorer market for the world cup at IAS Bet. They paid out my bet in full despite there being a 4 way dead heat, whereas Betfair have paid out at 1/4 odds on the lay. Net result was nearly £1,100 profit for me.

Two days later they realised their mistake and the bet was amended.
Still a good week never the less.

Week 39

I've had a real lazy week this week. I placed a few qualifiers and just lumped all the freebies on the open Golf. I didn't even make a not of what dates I placed the bets, so it's all lumped together as one sum.

On a positive note, following on from the IAS saga of last week and the top goal scorer, I also backed Mueller at Jaxx who paid out at 1/4 odds. Two days later they emailed to say that as FIFA had settled the Golden Shoe outright they were paying outright and added £300 to my account, all pure profit. I haven't counted that figure in this weeks as it hasn't it the bank yet and I don't know if it will.

Week 40

The Jaxx money is in the account and this week I took on Bet365 again. Found a HUGE arb on the racing 13/10.5 and it bust out accounting for more than 1/3 of my week. I'm still in a bit of a personal slump, struggling to find the motivation to keep it going. 3 of the people I have been doing this for are coming to an end and it's all the nitty gritty ones that I hate doing, but i won't leave +ev so i'll do them anyway
