Week 27

It seems amazing that when I started this blog my target was to make £10k in 33 weeks to double my bank roll, here I am on week 27 on the cusp of tripling it to £30k. Of the money I have made I actually have £23,500 + I loaned my mother £2k (Interest free of course). I have paid out £4k to other people for using their identity and taken for myself a paltry £200 so far.

This week I contemplated buying myself a laptop so I can matched bet in the comfort of my living room as my PC is under the stairs. My PC though is super fast and works brilliantly so I don't NEED a laptop, only want one. I couldn't bring myself to part with the money. If only Betfair had offered one for the prize hurdle !

Getting a laptop was a VERY well spent £380 for me, although my PC was pretty slow and not really up to the job. I couldn`t imagine going back to that now.

The other advantages are obviously the mobility of it, watching TV at the same time. With summer coming up you can look forward to matched betting in the garden!
WHERE DOES IT ALL GO ? :?

How do you make so much off the ladbrokes dogfather, when the bonus is only £10 if you are one of the first 150 entrants, and you have to stake £20 to get the bonus ? On another note, how long do you think ladbrokes will keep paying you all this money, week after week ? ;)

Hi Steve,
I've just been having a think about the offers BF do for racing multiples.

Todays offer is:

* Place a Racing Multiples bet on a minimum of three legs, with only ONE selection per leg, and a minimum stake of £10 that includes General Miller before 4.20pm today.
* If General Miller loses the race, we'll give you £10 back!

My question then mate is this: Is there anyway we can manipulate these types of offer that BF often do in order to shut in some guaranteed profit or good potential profit in the long run?

I was thinking along the lines of deploying F&F accounts to cover all other options/runners in the other 2 races selecting races with the minimum amount of runners possible?

Heres my example (which could be wildly wrong!)
Race One: BF selection
Race Two: 3 runners
Race Three: 3 runners

That means to cover all outcomes 9 treble bets of £10 would need to be made. Profit obviously depends on the odds for the multiple, but based on experience i'd say on average the LOWEST treble bet including two 3-horse races is usualy around 5 which would return a minimum profit of £40 with the 8 other alternatives inreasing in potential profit. So based on that this would leave us with the following 3 broad scenarios:

Scenario 1: BF selected horse loses. All 9 £10 bets will be returned. Outcome will be break/even.

Scenario 2: Worst case scenario. Lowest Treble wins returning apprx £40 (Based on above estimates) and Lose 8 multiples (£80). TOTAL LOSS: £50

Scenario 3: Best Case Scenario. Highest Treble wins returning maximum achievable profit. Dependant on odss, but outside horses in 3 horse races can be very high albeit obviously less likely. Example: Individual Odds of 2,8 & 8 would give you a treble multiple return of about £1,200.

Obviously 9 bets means 9 F&F accounts which might be stretching it for some and also that sometimes 2 other races with only 3 runners might not always be availible, but i just wanted to see if it works in theory.

Just thought if we could get this working we could announce on here the days when these bonuses are availible and make everyone some extra beans!

Anyway, my head now hurts! think i need a beer after all that thinking!

Bit The Bullet and bought a laptop, which I'm on right now :D

The Dogfather / Ratpack bonus is a slots offer so with a bit of positive variance...... :P You know how lucky I can be !!

The Betfair offers can be done like this

Back a 3 way acca where the first race is the Betfair fav. If it wins then you can lay the 2nd horse and so on, if it loses you get your stake back.

Assuming BF fav is 2.0 SP (Always check SP on my account tab) we have £20 riding on the next horse but only £10 of it is our original stake, underlay the next horse making sure we at least cover our £10 stake as we're not getting a refund now, if it wins move on to the third race, if it loses we have a small profit.

Just a little bit simpler than i suggested then!

I'll have a little play around with some figures with that then and see how i get on. what profit can usually expect per acca though Shooter?

Hope the laptops a goodun. Little bit jelous to be honest. My PC's fine but the Mrs takes it over (usually at vital important moments!) far too often!..... but i suppose Facebook is important too right!? mmmmmmm!

We'd be minted if Facebook payed out as much as matched betting does!

Laptops are free ! my wife had a pay as you go mobile, and used to put at least £10 a week on. We found a online site for mobiles, she got a brand new phone, 400 minutes a month, unlimited texts, a free laptop worth £395 all for £25 a month for 2 years. She could have had a touch screen i phone with 600 minutes and unlimited texts for £40 a month. Plus you get an affiliate link and any friends or relatives who go through it, you get £50.
