2nd coming

Postby Alan » Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:27 am

Ive finished my rounds and pretty much done all the bookies im prepard to do.
So ive decided to do the girlfriends, sorry we  have decided.
Anyways ive registered with her details on a few bookies and im getting hammered for extra ID. The ID they want is the typical withdraw ID but i havent even deposited in some of the bookies yet and they are wanting the full monty?
Is this normal? im thinking that because its a female account that maybe they ask for extra ID. Has anyone else had this?
The reason im asking is maybe my new IP etc is coming up with the old address?

Alan, i'm on a new account, and haven't been asked for any ID
Make sure you change your IP address.
Google "whats my IP address" and it tells you, and where you are located.
If your'e on virgin media, like me, and can't change it by switchimg on and off, go into your'e router and change the last no on the mac address.
Its already covered in an earlier post.

I've recently started doing the OH's account with a couple of books and I'm gonna keep a record of the ones that are PF and all the problems/pitfalls of doing this.
I got a lot of grief from VC about this but managed to get there in the end but they denied some bonuses and they asked for way too much ID.
I got to the point were I told them to stuff it and I'd take my money elsewhere and they backed down. But they are PF.
For those that try to get the bonuses from Laddies on both accounts it's not worth the risk, they don't pay out to 2 accounts with the same IP address, and your qualifying loss is doubled. They can be inconsistent with this but are getting tougher on it.
Overseas books will often ask for ID if you withdraw and sometimes it's better and quicker to bust out.
Most of the UK books will not ask for ID but if your address and IP is the same they are within their rights and prudent to ask for ID.

Bull's completely right about Laddies, they are really cracking down on their bonuses, they used to be very lax.

VC wanted loads of ID before OH deposited but once received cleared the bonuses and everything went to plan.

Can't recall any other UK books asking for ID, Will Hill have recently asked for proof of ownership of her Moneybookers account, wtf? European and Oz books usually ask for ID anyway. Some before depositing and nearly all before withdrawing.

Only book to refuse OH bonus so far is Expekt.

Here's a list of books my OH has done and got the bonus with the slight caveat that this doesn't mean they are partner friendly. I take no responsibility if anyone is refused bonuses by any of these

You can add Eurosport bet to the list Steve - plus they have a £50 bonus which runs out at the end of this month. They also allow withdrawals without requesting ID :D

I have changed my IP address through changing my MAC address but just seems strange that im being asked for extra ID with bookies that ive done before and had no ID problems.

I also did betfred, which ive made a complete mess of. I deposited £50 then found a good arb with odds of around 34 but i was only allowed to bet a max of £9? and because ive done a load of bonus offers lately i forgot it was a freebet offer and went and placed the bet. Now im only going to get a free £9 bet
Now was i only allowed to bet £9 because of the big odds or was i being restricted because of my other account?

I would guess it was because of the long odds.
Contact their CS and ask if you can place another bet to qualify as the high odds restricted your first bet.

Here is my list of bookies that i intend to do with a new IP and ID etc.

BETFRED
SKYBET
PANBET
EXPEKT
JAXX
HILLS
LADBROKES
UTD BETFRED
888sport
BETCLICK
UNIBET
BETWAY
BET24
SPORTINGBET
BWIN
BLUE SQUARE
BET UK
VICTOR CHANDLER
STAN JAMES
BOYLESPORTS
BETSAFE
PADDY POWER
MY BET
CENTREBET
BETINTERNET
ISABET
BET-AT-HOME
GAMEBOOKERS
TOTESPORT
CORAL
INTERWITTEN
BET365
188BET
EUROSPORT

I have already done the above and a few more that are not on the list due to pulling their offers etc.
Is there anymore good offers i can add to the list?

I think its a good idea what bull suggests by having a list of PF bookies and maybe a list of bookies to do from scratch.
I know its on the main page but these offers change so quick and there are alot that are only 10% offers that just dont seem worth it to me.

The list on the front page should suffice for main books. There are more I know, people should post them (preferably with reviews) in the bookies section.
As I've said before I don't think it's a good idea to gnome bookies with several accounts from a single address, maybe that's why you're getting asked for ID. The books don't allow this.
The list I posted is for partner friendly books and the books are happy with this.
