Bwin - Betting Limits increased

Postby geminitrading » Tue Jun 09, 2009 12:01 pm

Earlier this year I had a £1 betting limit imposed on my account by these clowns.

Just found out, if you email them and ask if the limit is still in force, they will increase it to £100.

Seems they have been limiting accounts in the UK for some unexplained reason and have now decided to remove the limits.

My account was limited after I won a £20 bet on a nag that was quoted on their site @4.33 but actually had an SP of 2.8 (I think I matched the bet on BF @ around 3)

I tried to place a rugby bet of £100 last weekend with them and I was not allowed to stake more than £44.

Is their £80 offer still on? If so how are you supposed to do it when they limit your stakes?

I've just done Bwin (Again) and I did it on the horses after being tipped about big arbs.

It seems the closer to the race you get the less you are allowed to win, so 5 mins from the off my max return was £43.

10 mins to off it was £120 max return

I made 110% profit from the free bet

Bwin are a creacking site with some good arbs if you are prepared to take a little at a time. The exclusive £80 deal is sadly no longer available anywhere but this is a huge euro bookie and is here to stay. They will tighten up on their odds eventually so now may be the time to trade them on the arbs, in play etc

I agree they are a creaking site as opposed to a cracking site.

How long was their £80 offer avaiable for 2 days? Supposed to be until the end of 2009.

What a bunch of jokers. :x

As Jas says the offer's gone now but I suppose I could have made the money on any amount if I'd had the patience.

I backed three horses in a five horse race, all of them were arbs, even after the commision (One of them was 8 - 6.8) . I could have backed a fourth but I'd used up all my money by then, so 4 out of 5 runners were arbs !!!!! Problem was I could only get £30 on them in total so close to the off

I agree with RIT - this bookie is a joke

But if the odds are good for arbing (as they are) it's maybe worth a bit of grief getting a bet on with them.

There are also some excellent arbs on the dogs - Bwin use fixed odds when they quote the prices (I think they do this with the nags too), so if you've got a bit of patience watching the BF odds, there's some really tasty arbs to be had.

That's assuming you can actually get a bet placed !!

Just Deposited £30 to Play the £30 Free Bet offer on today at the Dubai World Cup Horse Race Card. ie Play 3 Races £10 a Go & Lose to claim your 3x Free Bets. Just Noticed they use Tote Odds or Something along those Lines.
So will be a Case of a Rough Estimate just before off and probably lose a bit more on the QB deal than Bookie odds... :!:

hi,

I am pleased someone mentioned the tote odds.
I bet 10 this morning for the free bet and came back from the football this evening and found i had lost money because the odds had substantially shortened from when i had placed it and layed at betfair!!
Is that always the case with Bwin and tote odds? Do you have to place your bet as close to the start race as possible?
It has made the offer a bit pointless for me........ and i am not sure whether i will do it again in the future!
