Betwithred byebye......

Postby luckymissy99 » Sat Sep 19, 2009 1:19 pm

Betwithred/Casinored.....cant see anything on forum for the sudden decision of this bookie to stop trading so here goes.

For about a week after I registered and made a £25 qual bet with this lot their site hung up and no access. Then a message appeared saying Bgbet were taking over so I emailed Bgbet asking for my free £25 bet. They answered by saying there were no free bet deals going recently and any that were on affilliate sites shouldnt have been as all affilliates had been asked to withdraw them.

Can I do anything here apart from moan as I made the qual bet with them in all good faith (and lost like a good FEM lassie).

Any suggestions? Thanks.........

The answer is no you can't do anything. It's up to the bookie to offer the free bet.
You could try using your charm and pleading with them to back down. All you can say is that you will take your business elsewhere if they don't.

I did them a couple of months ago, from a freebet link, but didn't get one i kept emailing them, in the end i phoned them.
I was told there was no offer on, and to take it up with the affiliate.
Which was here, i posted at the time, to say no freebet.

Indeed you did Jethro and apologies because I must have missed it at the time. We have heard nothing from this company to forewarn affiliates of this decision to cease trading :(
Luckymissy99 - It's unfortunate when things like this happen and you could pursue it on the basis of being induced into joining them because of the free offer. Were the terms and conditions still current?
On the other hand such action is generally only succesful when dealing with the actual company in question which obviously isnt the case here. It may be best to put such things down to experience as we're only talikng the cost of a qualifier?
I know it's a matter of principle and I'm not trying to play down your justified annoyance. Betwithred have been removed from the main page - thanks for the post informing everyone of the situation.

Thank you guys for your repies to my probs with betwithred etc.........

Bull - Will take your advice with another email using charm etc

Jetro - Missed your previous post about your similar problem but ta anyway and sorry you were caught too.

Bigjas - T's and C's same but that obviously makes no difference to them. Will make sure to pass around my experience to friends and certainly will avoid Bgbet also in the future.........

Thanks again..........
