Bookies Bonuses

Postby scottdonald » Mon Jul 23, 2012 6:34 pm

Hi,

Great site, made approx £400 in a few months, now on to the biggies !
Slightly confused with the bonuses in the bookies.
Is it fair to say if you bet £50, £100, £200 etc at the bookies and ""bust out in one" as you say, the bonus is added immediately ?
Thanks

Regards
Jack

Which bonus are you talking about? Generally you want to bust out (lose at the bookie/win at betfair) whether it's a free bet or deposit bonus but the difference is you have to place a bet to get a free bet / or just deposit to get the deposit bonus.

Hi Guys,

I mean about wagering 4, 5 6 x deposit amount to get bonus
If I lose at the bookie, can I ignore the above and just get the bonus into my account ?

Generally the bonus is credited on your deposit - you just can't withdraw it until you complete the wagering requirement. If you bust out you're not withdrawing because as far as the bookie is concerned, they won your money as you lost the bet with them. They don't know that you won your bet at betfair :D

Just to clarify,
Say I deposit £100 and get 50% bonus
I back 100 and lay 100 as qualifying bet (make sure I lose at bookie ) to avoid wagering
Have I then got 50% as free bet ?

Cheers

No. You're describing a deposit bonus which is awarded at the point you deposit not at the point you bet. Deposit 100 and the bookie ( in your example ) bumps up your balance to 150.
Bet the whole 150 (and lay the bet at betfair correctly) then if you lose the bookie bet you've bust out with no need to complete any WR.
