How to deal with deposit Bonus

Postby davidcrookson » Thu Apr 12, 2012 8:24 pm

Hello!

I have so far only been depositing at bookmakers with "free bet" offers.

I now need to register with some of those offering "deposit bonuses". For example, Betway are offering a deposit bonus up to £25. I need some advice:

Firstly: after depositing £25 and receiving my £25 bonus, should I make a £50 bet or a £25 bet? If I make a £25 bet, will I be able to withdraw my £25 deposit? Or will it automatically take my stake from my "real" money.

Secondly, what odds should I find? I was thinking it good to find high odds (4-7) to increase the likelihood of me losing, so I wouldnt have to satisfy the wagering requirements for withdrawal. However, if I happened to win a bet at those high odds I might not have enough in my BetFair to carry on betting!

If someone could give me a little guidance on the easiest way to go about this, would be appreciated.

Cheers

Dave

Yes bet the full amount of your deposit and bonus eg £50 in your example because you want to bust out the full amount ideally (so higher odds may well help).
The latter parts of this thread may help you out further

Thanks admin.

When using the calculator, should I put the full £50 as stake forfeit? Or 0. Or 25.

I think it should be zero - am i right?

cheers
