I have read the step by step guide many times but it doesn't answer the 'whats' if's' and so on.....

i still dont see why i would lose 37.50 for example and not just 25 because im betting 25 on 1.5 odds ....

also AFTER the 1st bet where u may/may not get a free bet.... how do you go about things after that.

EG iv won 37.50 in 1 account -5percent + possible free bet
lost 25 in other account because thats all i bet.

I don't mean to be rude but the information is not that informative, for a noob such as myself re-reading everything doesn't really help because it's the same information that i dont understand and not in 'lehman' terms so 2 speak lol

I may have confused you due to being tired before.

Lets assume odds of 1.5 at the bookie and betfair with a £25 stake to qualify for a free bet.

At the bookie you will stand to get 37.50 back but only 12.50 of this is winnings/profit as your 25 stake is returned to you.

At betfair your lay risk 12.93. The amount you actually stake on the lay bet is 25.86.

If the bet wins at the bookie you win 12.50 but then also lose 12.93 at betfair so you're 43p down.
If the bet wins at betfair then you win 24.57 but you've lost 25 at the bookie so you're still 43p down.

Either way you've bought a free £25 bet for 43 pence.

Had the odds been 15 and not 1.5 it would look like this:

At the bookie you get 375 back or 350 profit
At betfair your lay risk 351.17. Your actual stake is 25.08
If the bet wins at the bookie youre 350 up but you lose 351.17, so thats £1.17 down
If the bet wins at betfair you win 23.83 but you lose 25 at the bookie. Again £1.17 down.

Either way you've bought a free £25 bet for £1.17

You'll see that odds which are the same but higher will cost you a little more than lower odds eg 1.5 / 1.5 is better than 15/15.

You must understand that if you win big at the bookie then you will lose big at betfair so you need to have those funds deposited with betfair before you can place the bet. Win and lose are misleading terms though because these amounts cancel each out in simple terms.

Ok thanks for that i get that now, my next query if u dont mind is AFTER your 1st bets and youve lost your 43p overall for example and won a 25free bet.

5 percent of 12.50 is 62.5p so why do i lose 43p and not 62.5p?

with the free bets you cant withdraw it can you, you have to place 'x' amounts of bets before bring eligble to withdraw it, yes ? so even though it is a 25free bet its not actually free because i cant withdraw it?

How do you guys actually make money then like the screenshot pix....his balance is increasing on betfair so on anothe account he's losing out to just break even to get all the 'free bets'?

You haven't won a free bet - you've earned it just by placing the first/qualifying bet at the bookie.

12.50 is what you might "win" at the bookie. This is not subject to commission. Only betfair do this.

No you can't withdraw free bets. You must bet them (back and lay as above) but this time at odds of 6 or over. Its still a free bet and you will be guaranteed to keep around 80% of the free bet amount which you can withdraw.

Many people make money from following this method. You dont appear to have quite grasped the concept yet but stick with it...

I know but thanks for consistently helping :)

So i must place 2 bets of equal amount of the same event, 1website back and betfair lay, lose a few pence to pound on 1st bet BUT earned a free bet of 'x' amount on 1 or both websites.

When placing the 1st bet, do i need to put and additional 'x' amount in each account to cover the lay risk ?? so its 2 bets of the same amount plus 'x' amount in each account 2 cover the lay risk ?

Not equal amounts no. The calculator tells you how much the lay bet should be - but yes 1 back bet. You earn the free bet from the bookie and then you move on to another bookie. There is a free bet with betfair but I'm not going there with you.

No you only need to cover the lay bet at betfair.

Yes it's qualifying for free bets on many different sites

No but it does feel like you haven't read much of the tutorial ;)

You get the free bet by placing your first bet (BOGOF) . That's it. Job done. There are other deposit bonuses which we haven't covered yet.

The 2nd bet at the bookies is your free bet. This needs to be at higher odds because the free bet stake is not returned (SNR).

Sharpeshooter has made well over 50k I'd imagine but he is a machine and too modest to brag about it here. Anything he's ever posted is trustworthy and good advice. There are some other useful sticky threads in the open forum. You can easily make a few thousand without trying too hard. Lots of small amounts soon add up :D

Hi Noob. Im am nothing to do with admin. But he is right mate sounds like you need to keep going over the tutorial. Keep practicing on the odds matcher. Dont worry too much how it works, if you use that it just does....I have made nothing like Mr Sharpeshooter yet. I have a few accounts and am a few hundred up. For instance have made £14 :P 2day. Well as soon as Cheltenham's first race finishes I will have. Always read the terms and conditions double check before you click and stick to the plan. As stated small amounts add up. And it is Tax free. Even £14 would be 2 hours at work for me after tax. Good luck you wont need it..

Ok iv had a good gander through the forums and understand better now i think.
The 1st bet u place with any bookie is your qualifying bet, back with bookie lay with betting exchange.
Check T+C for odds required to qualify etc....
1st qualyfing bet YOU LOSE money overall, few pence to pound, BUT get free bet.

Either win @ bookie + get free bet (SR) + lose @ exchange ( Lay Risk )
OR
Lose @ bookie + get free bet + win @ exchange

Use money calculator 2 help, Lay stake is stake @ exchange and 'x' amount bet @ bookie to qualify for free bet.?? So far so good ??
