Multi-bets?

Postby jayboat » Tue Dec 14, 2010 10:58 am

What do you do when you need to place a multi bet t qualify for the bonus, can this be layed at betfair and is it harder to find odds. In my searches ive came across a few that need to do this.

There's 3 ways to lay a multi-bet. An easy way, a more profitable but restricted way and a much more profitable but riskier way.

Easy way
Betfair have a multiples market but the oods are set by BF and not other punters so are not competitive. Select the games you want to lay as a multiple by clicking on the back odds and then once all the games have been selected select lay multiple. It's a little counter intuitive

More profitable way

Betfair exchange offers Accumulators on major leagues but you cannot place a cross league accumulator. Go to the exchange, select premier league and you'll see accumulators. There is then a list of accumulator bets, select the one you want and lay it.

Riskier way

The riskier way is much easier as it's what you're already used to. Pick games which have at least 2 hours between them. Make sure the match for the first game is close and ideally quite high odds as you want to bust it on this bet if you can. Back the ACCA at the bookie and lay the first leg at BF. If the lay wins job done as the ACCA will now lose. If the bet wins lay the 2nd leg and so on. The risk is odds can shift so the odds on the 2nd leg could drift out (or come in) so underlay the first bet to offset some of this risk

Thanks SS, i checked out the link to and with the sample shown, its very well explained and makes sense to do. I think these types of bets will be the norm in a few years time. I gonna get partybet outta the way and finish another 2 bonuses before i start in on these multi bet ones.

I'll prob mostly do the lowest risk option and only the riskest one when i have time to do it on the horses provided my float can support me. Im gonna need to learn this some time as i see alot of the big reloads require big WR.
