My sis got this e-mail below from Betchronicle yesterday......this was her first attempt a MB......wot a bunch of t***ers!!!!!!!!. She used her own computer to do this bet as well. I have to ask the question what does this mean for my sis and her future MB career, will these barstewards pass on her details to other bookies or what!! Dear Ms Bird, Many thanks for our mail. With reference to our Free Bet promotions, unfortunately you are not entitled to our free bet promotion due to breaching our Terms and Conditions. Your account was connected to others that had abused our free bets in the past. You will not be entitled to a free bet in this instance and it has now been removed from your account. Could you confirm your address and forward me the answers to the following security questions so we can withdraw you funds from your account for you What is your place of birth? What is your mothers' maiden name? If I can be of any further assistance, do not hesitate to contact me.

I've had this. On the accounts I have received it on there has been one common factor though, either same PC or same address.
If your sis has ANY connection to your account (address etc.) or if you have ever logged into your account from her PC, this is why they've caught you.

What a pain in the ass for your sister, sharpeshooter when you say same pc, is this the same ip address, or can they actually identify the exact pc you are using?

They don't tell you the reason, they're not obliged to.
I reckon that I've forgotten to delete cookies before signing in, so I've had an old log in cookie from a previous account on my PC.
I regularly change my ip so it can't be that.
Will find out next week as I've reformatted my C drive this week and had the router off for 2 days, new ip and no cookies at all, so if they still connect a new account to previous accounts they are either lying or they are seeing my mac address (computers personal identity number).
Now, if they are using the mac address I reckon that's probably illegal as it infringes on my privacy.

 Re: banned by betchronicle
Hi Sharpey. She did this on her own computer for a friend and as far as I know and she did all the necessities ie cookies, ip address etc. and when she went to withdraw some funds after this bookie had given her the FB, they flagged her as bonus abuser.
I personally think that my sis has been picked on, totally a random.
It would scare me to death that the scenerio of a bookie refusing your money if you won the FB with them instead of betfair/betdaq.
Oh well!!!!

Did she lay the bet at Daq or Fair?
Daq & Chronicle are the same company

 Re: banned by betchronicle
She said it was betfair sharpey.....interesting you say that chronicle+daq are under the same umbrella.
Still this points to me to being singled out by chronicle as when they feel like doing so and under my estimation that SUCKS!!!!!
It would be interesting to hear from other FEM members of these run-in,s with the bookies on doing several accounts.
Advice I gave to my sis was keep to going as there are plenty more to go at.

 Re: banned by betchronicle
Update from my sis on betchronicle.
She said that betchronicle took back the £25 free bet from her winnings on her qualifying bet and paid what was left of her winnings back into her bank.
So it looks like she did,nt lose all the money but it would worry me if the free bet was won at betchronicle and then they decided to forfeiture the whole of her winnings.
I was looking through the promo rules at iwager the other day and they said this "Any abuse of the Promo code system will result in the forfeiture of any bonus funds awarded plus any winnings generated from them".
What do you reckon about this or it just a bookie to advoid fullstop?

You can set IE to delete cookies on exit, but it's not the default setting. Don't know about firefox
