So if i have just joined Paddy Power i could bet £10 qualifer on Dunguib??

Then when the free bet is deposited of £20 bet i bet that on another horse in the race.

So if Dunguib wins i will get my winnings at the booky and also a refund of my other horse also, so i make all ways. But also the lay return for my losing horse also??

Is this the best way to utilise the free bet please??

Sorry to be selfish and question this for my own bet also if i was to lay it at reduced odds, which this be a good way of reducing my loss on the qualifying bet as surely some one will match odds of say 1.95 before the race starts tomorrow??

Is that trying to be too clever??

I would expect Dunguib to come right in tomorrow, but there's no guarantees. Paddy Power probably won't refund losing Free bets on the race so there's no benefit from your plan. Find a close match at high odds in any race and stick it on

I have decided to put a tenner on of my own money layed at BF on another horse so at least i could get my money refunded and the lay win!! If Dunguid comes in!! A small gain for a newbie!!

I presently have this unmatched as have set it at lower odds in the hope the betting narrows, which in my limited experience often does.

Have saved my free bet to tomorrow night so i can have a look for wed.

I know the odds are still crap but thought there would still be some good profit somewhere!? can't seem to work out the best way though!

This is what i've figured so far using 'Get me out of here' (5 & 7 current odds) as chosen horse together with ideas so far:

If Dunguib Wins:
-£200 (Losing Back Bet)
+£200 (Refunded losing bet)
+£135 (effective matched Profit)
-£130 (If laying Dunguib for the £65 @ 2.0)

Total: £5 Profit

If Dunguib Loses:
-£65 (effective matched bet loss)
+£65 (Winning Lay bet on Dunguib)

Total: Break/Even

Is this right or am i missing something?

For future reference this is how I did it

Backed £200 @ 11 on Menorah
Layed £157.67 @ 14
Layed Dunguib £100 @ 1.98

This leaves the following Scenarios

Dunguib Wins: lose £98 on Dunguib Lay, Collect £157.67 On Menorah Lay, Pay commission on difference £200 refunded Profit approx £57

Menorah Wins: Win £2000 at Paddy, Lose £2049.71 On Menorah Lay, collect £100 on Dunguib lay, no commission as net loss at BF Profit £50.29

Any Other Horse wins: Lose £200 at Paddy, collect Both Lays Pay commission for approx £45 profit

This is what happened, cos I'm Just THAT lucky

Menorah wins at SP of 13, Paddy Power pay out at Best Odds so

Win at Paddy £2400
Lose on Lay £2049.71
Win Dunguib Lay £100

Total profit £450.29
